CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act) Training Courses

TheCCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) is a data privacy law that took effect on January 1, 2020 in the State of California. Following the passing of Prop 24, the CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act) will take effect officially on January 1, 2023 and replace the CCPA. The CPRA is widely viewed as California’s version of the EU’s GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). It gives consumers more control over their personal data, and holds businesses more accountable for protecting the data they collect and process. Section 1798.130(a)(6) of the Act requires regulated businesses to provide CPRA training to employees dealing with consumer inquiries related to company privacy practices, as well as anyone responsible for the organization’s CPRA compliance.

If the CPRA affects your organization, it is important that your employees understand it and know how to comply with its requirements.

“I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for yesterday’s course. You brought us the course materials in a very professional and interesting way, with many examples that illustrates the implementation. No doubt that you have a lot of experience and it was very kind of you to share it with us. This is the 4th course I am taking with IT governance (2 online and 2 classroom) and I'm very satisfied.”
